Sidetrack conveyors utilize a 'C' shaped hanging pendant which is attached to the conveyor chain through a side mounted slot on the conveyor track, as opposed to the bottom as with conventional type chain conveyors. The side mounted pendants ensure the transported components are shielded from the conveyor chain, thus eliminating the risk of product contamination.
